Kumbhalgarh fort is a Mewar fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills. It is a World Heritage Site included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Built during the course of the 15th century by Rana Kumbha. Occupied until the late 19th century, the fort is now open to the public and is spectacularly lit for a few minutes each evening. With the walls of the fort extending over 38 km, it is claimed to be the second-longest continuous wall after the Great Wall of China the fort is among the largest wall complex in the world, and the second largest fort in India after Chittoor Fort.

Ranakpur Temple

The Ranakpur temple is one of the largest and most important temples of Jain culture. The temple is located 50 kms from Kumbhalgarh. The construction of the temple started in the 15th century following a divine vision, Rana Kumbha supported the construction of the temple. The temple, with its distinctive domes, shikhara, turrets and cupolas rises majestically from the slope of a hill. 1444 marble pillars, carved in exquisite detail, support the temple.
